Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective: 1 October 2026 Last updated: 1 October 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Refund Policy”) applies to payments made for products and services offered by Book1Trip, subject to the specific terms applicable to the relevant product, booking or transaction.

Book1Trip provides a combination of digital, educational, technology, SaaS, consultancy, support and travel-related Services. Accordingly, refund eligibility may differ depending on the nature and stage of the Service.

1. GENERAL PRINCIPLE

Because many Book1Trip Services involve immediate allocation of resources, digital delivery, access activation, training, software configuration, account creation, operational support or third-party commitments, payments are generally non-refundable and non-transferable once the applicable Service has been delivered, activated, commenced or made available, except where:

a specific product's written terms expressly provide otherwise;

Book1Trip voluntarily approves a refund; or

a refund is required under applicable law.

This policy does not purport to exclude any statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. WEBINAR REGISTRATION FEES

A webinar registration fee is a fee for participation/attendance at the relevant webinar.

Once registration has been successfully completed and the webinar access/registration has been provided, the registration fee is generally non-refundable and non-transferable, subject to applicable law and any specific terms communicated for that webinar.

The webinar registration fee does not constitute payment for complete business setup or for any other separately offered product.

3. DIGITAL TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES

Payments for digital training, LMS programmes, educational courses, recorded sessions, digital resources or similar Services are generally non-refundable after access has been:

issued;

activated;

emailed;

made available through an LMS;

made available through a login;

delivered through a digital resource; or

otherwise made available to the Customer.

The fact that a Customer has not watched, downloaded or completed the available content does not, by itself, establish that the Service was not delivered where access was properly provided.

This clause remains subject to applicable law.

4. TRAVEL BUSINESS GUIDANCE

Payments for Travel Business Guidance are generally non-refundable and non-transferable after the Service, training access, resources or related digital access has been provided.

Customers are encouraged to review the Service description and raise questions before making payment.

5. TRAVEL MASTERY

Travel Mastery payments are generally non-refundable and non-transferable once enrolment has been confirmed or programme access/resources have been provided, subject to any specific written terms applicable to the programme and applicable law.

6. TRAVEL STORE

Travel Store subscription or setup payments are generally non-refundable after:

store activation;

account activation;

configuration;

subscription commencement; or

commencement of the applicable service period.

Cancellation of a future renewal, where available, shall not automatically entitle the Customer to a refund of the current subscription period.

7. B2B PORTAL

B2B portal setup, access, subscription or technology payments are generally non-refundable once:

account creation has commenced;

access has been provided;

portal setup has commenced;

configuration has been completed; or

the applicable service period has commenced.

8. TRAVEL BOOKINGS

Flights, hotels, buses, holiday packages and other travel bookings are subject to the applicable supplier's terms.

Cancellation/refund amounts may depend upon:

airline policy;

hotel policy;

DMC policy;

bus operator policy;

booking fare rules;

cancellation period;

supplier charges;

taxes;

payment gateway charges; and

other applicable deductions.

Book1Trip cannot guarantee a refund where the relevant third-party supplier does not provide a refundable amount.

9. SUPPLIER-DEPENDENT REFUNDS

Where Book1Trip receives a refundable amount from a third-party supplier on behalf of a Customer, Book1Trip may process the corresponding refund after receiving and reconciling the applicable amount, subject to permitted deductions and applicable law.

Book1Trip shall not be required to refund an amount that has not been received or is not refundable by the relevant supplier, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

10. DUPLICATE PAYMENTS

Where a Customer unintentionally makes a verified duplicate payment for the same Service, Book1Trip may review the transaction and, where appropriate, refund the duplicate amount after verification.

The Customer must provide adequate payment references to enable verification.

11. SERVICE NON-DELIVERY

If Book1Trip receives payment but fails to provide the purchased Service due to a Book1Trip-side failure, the Customer may contact support for review.

Where Book1Trip confirms that the Service was not delivered and no reasonable alternative or remedy is provided, the matter shall be considered in accordance with the applicable Service terms and applicable law.

12. SERVICE MISREPRESENTATION OR MATERIAL DIFFERENCE

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to prevent a Customer from exercising rights available under applicable consumer law where a Service is materially different from the Service expressly advertised or agreed, or where another statutory refund remedy applies.

The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 contain provisions concerning services that are not as advertised or agreed and related refund obligations.

13. REFUND REQUEST PROCEDURE

All refund requests should be submitted in writing to:

support@book1trip.in

The request should include:

Customer name;

registered email address;

registered mobile number;

payment reference;

order/reference number;

Service purchased;

date of payment;

amount paid;

reason for the request; and

supporting documents, where applicable.

Book1Trip may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the request.

14. REFUND REVIEW

Submission of a refund request does not constitute approval of the refund.

Each request may be reviewed based on:

payment records;

registration records;

Service terms;

access records;

delivery records;

communications;

supplier records;

transaction history; and

applicable law.

15. REFUND PROCESSING

Where a refund is approved, it shall generally be processed through the original payment method or another appropriate method agreed/required for the transaction.

The time taken for the funds to reach the Customer may depend upon the payment gateway, bank or financial institution.

16. NON-TRANSFERABILITY

Payments made for a Service are generally non-transferable to another person or account unless Book1Trip expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

17. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

Customers are requested to contact Book1Trip before initiating a payment dispute where the matter concerns Service delivery, access, cancellation or refund.

Where a payment is disputed through a bank, card network, UPI provider or payment gateway, Book1Trip may submit relevant records concerning:

registration;

payment;

invoices;

access;

delivery;

communications;

terms accepted; and

Service utilisation,

to the relevant payment processor or financial institution.

Nothing in this clause limits any lawful right available to the Customer.

18. NO WAIVER OF STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing contained in this Refund Policy shall be construed as:

excluding a mandatory statutory remedy;

restricting a consumer's rights under applicable law;

excluding liability that cannot legally be excluded; or

preventing a competent authority or court from determining a matter according to applicable law.

19. POLICY MODIFICATION

Book1Trip may update this Refund Policy from time to time.

The version applicable to a particular purchase shall ordinarily be the version communicated or made available to the Customer at the relevant time, subject to applicable law.
